About Aaron Bean
I was exposed to the home building process at a very young age. I spent countless Saturdays on the job site with my dad -- whether running a shovel, sweeping up, or organizing materials, I was always there to help. I learned the process of how a home was constructed at an early age, and I grew up understanding that quality results come from an organized schedule and an organized job site -- and, that quality is a direct result of respect for the people that work on your job.

The son of prominent local homebuilder, William B. Bean, Aaron practically grew up on job sites. His father developed a reputation for being the best home builder in the Silicon Valley. Aaron is proud to have been mentored by him for so many years. Father and son built a subdivision and more than 10 homes together before William chose to retire. Aaron credits his father's attention to detail and unparalleled work ethic for shaping him into the person he is today.
With over 20 years of hands on experience in the planning approval process, budgeting, and construction management, Aaron knows how to get a home constructed in the most efficient and streamlined manner possible. "We built a 3800 square foot home in a little under six months, and we made sure it had all of the quality and finish of the four previously built custom homes in the same neighborhood."
Aaron was featured in one of the South Bay's premier magazines, GENTRY, as one of the top speculative homebuilders in the Silicon Valley area. (Paul Mehus and Dave Flick were also showcased in the article (September 2005).)

Brad Lind, Head Building Official with the City of Saratoga, is one of my favorite people to work with. I have known Brad for a significant portion of my career and he has always been supportive of the quality vs. quantity approach that drives my business. Brad also worked with my dad for many years, and continues to ask how he is doing. I think dad is truly missed in the local industry."

Many general contractors shy away from construction in Monte Sereno, and they are missing out. I enjoy working with Howard Bell, Head Building Official with the City of Monte Sereno. He is often interpreted as being highly critical, but I appreciate that he pushes me to be even more attentive to code-related detail. At the end of the day, he is only enforcing the building code, and it's in everyone's best interest to respect and understand that code.
My favorite areas to work are the Town of Los Gatos, the City of Saratoga, and the City of Monte Sereno. I have a great working relationship with many reputable cornerstone figures in these municipalities, including clerks, planners, and building officials.
To reach a solid level of mutual respect after these years, I followed my dad's example and built a reputation of doing what I say I will do. This trust means a lot -- to me and to those I work with. Because of this, I can get things done -- if not expedited -- based on my reliable track record and solid relationships.

Aaron lives in Los Gatos with Tina, his wife of 15 years, and their three children. Tina is co-founder and VP of Sales & Marketing for a leading marketing, analytics and lead generation company. "We absolutely love where we live. On weekends, we often ride our bikes to the farmer's market or Music in the Park. There is no place we'd rather live than Los Gatos."
While Aaron is a speculative builder by trade, he also builds and remodels custom homes for select, prominent individuals in the Silicon Valley. Aaron is also the owner and co-founder of Los Gatos Iron Works, a company that provides custom iron gate and fence fabrication and gate automation throughout the Bay Area.
